Von den Dingen, so wie sie sind.
Der Tatagatha spricht von
den Dingen so, wie sie sind,
er sagt, was wahr ist und mit
der Wirklichkeit übereinstimmt.
Was der Tathagata
die höchste, vollkommene Weisheit
genannt hat, ist in Wirklichkeit
nicht die höchste, vollkommene Weisheit.
Und darum ist sie wirklich
die höchste, vollkommene Weisheit.
Was der Tathagata
das höchste Vollkommene nennt,
ist seinem Wesen nach
nicht das höchste Vollkommene.
Und darum wird es
das höchste Vollkommene genannt.

About the things as they are
The Tatagatha speaks of
things as they are,
He says, what is true and
corresponds with reality.
What the Tathagata named
the highest perfect wisdom,
is in reality
not the highest perfect wisdom.
And that is, why it is really
the highest perfect wisdom.
What the Tathagata named
the highest perfect wisdom
is in its essence
not the highest perfect.
And therefore it is called
the highest perfect.
(V 12.1.7e Things as they are.)
