Die Wahrheit wird klar.
Fährt jemand in einem Boot und
blickt auf das Ufer,
glaubt er,
dass sich das Ufer bewege,
dies ist aber ein Irrtum.
Wenn er unmittelbar
auf das Boot schaut,
weiß er,
dass das Boot sich bewegt
und nicht das Ufer.
Genauso ist es, wenn
Körper und Geist verwirrt sind und
wir versuchen,
die zehntausend Dinge der Welt zu verstehen;
dann denken wir irrtümlich, dass
unser Geist und unser Wesen
etwas Beständiges seien.
Wenn wir jedoch unmittelbar handeln und
zur konkreten Situation
im gegenwärtigen Augenblick zurückkommen,
wird die Wahrheit klar, dass
die zehntausend Dinge ohne
ein beständiges Selbst sind.

The truth becomes clear
If someone is in a boat and
looks at the shore,
he believes..,
that the shore is moving,
but this is a mistake.
If he looks directly
at the boat,
he knows
that the boat is moving
and not the shore.
It is the same when
body and mind are confused and
we try to understand
to understand the ten thousand things of the world;
then we mistakenly think that
our mind and our being
are something permanent.
However, when we act directly and
to the concrete situation
in the present moment,
the truth becomes clear that
the ten thousand things without
are a constant self.
