A bodhisattva is non a true Bodhisattva.
If a bodhisattva
holds on to the perception that
a self, a person,
a living being or a life span exists,
then he is non a true bodhisattva.
What the Tathagata calls
a conception of a self, a person
a living being or
a life span,
is by its very nature not a conception
of a self, a person
a living being or
a life span.
And therefore it is called the conception of
a self, a person,
a living being or
a life span.
(V 12.1.2e A bodhisattva is not a true
Bodhisattva.)
